Mixing task

The recipe to load the mixer wagon is one of the Feedm modules and is always available via the online app. Which is useful, because how often do you remember that the recipe is still on the kitchen table when the feed consultant has already reached the feed mixer? Or you guess the recipe because the paper it was written on has become too wet to read? With Feedm, this is all in the past.
Is the farmer planning to change the loading list? If so, ask him to change it in Feedm too. The consultant will then receive an alert about the change. The new feed mix may have an impact on the farm results. If necessary, and in consultation with the farmer, the consultant can optimise the recommended feed mix again.

Adjusting the mixture

After consulting the farmer, the feed consultant sends a new mixing task to Feedm. The farmer can always view and adjust the recipe on his smartphone. The following points have an impact on the recipe and can therefore be adjusted by the farmer:

  • The number of animals for which the mxing task is calculated
  • The loading order
  • The total amount of feed
  • The amount of feed per feed material
  • The number of portions fed per day

Changing the number of loading kilos per feed material can change the mixing ratio. The consultant will receive an alert when this is changed. If the mixing ratio remains the same, the consultant will not receive an alert.

Feed mix recommendation for the new situation

The feed consultant receives an alert in Feedm when the mixing task has been changed. The change can then be read into FeedExpert. This has two advantages: the consultant is immediately aware of the change to the recipe and proactively respond to the new situation on the farm.
If necessary, and in consultation with the farmer, the consultant can then prepare a new, tailor-made mixing task. Putting together a feed strategy that you have both determined is much easier this way.
